St. Paul, Phesama

The glory of God is human beings fully alive, says St. Ireanus. Every action, be it big or small, has to ultimately result in the glory of God. The ordinary activities of St. Paul Institute of Education, Phesama, have this as its aim – to help every person here to be fully alive to God.

People come and go, but they leave behind something good. The Jeson (Jesuit Schools Of Nagaland) organized one day Sports and Games Competitions for the primary class students of 4 southern Angami Jesuit schools on 1st May in Loyola School, Jakhama. It was a meeting point for over 1000 students. As many as 50 teachers and 200 parents of students had a good platform for meeting and encouraging each other. In that meeting God was present and His glory was what mattered for us much through his people.

The Queen of Sheeba traveled long to hear the wisdom of Solomon and the wise men followed the star to reach Bethlehem to see the Promised One. 23 of our Jesuit theologians from all over the north India came and stayed at St. Paul from 20th April to 20 May for a quiet time with the Promised One. They left with immense blessings. Their eyes have seen the marvels of God in this part of our country.

10 of our Jesuit candidates are on their way to Novitiate after their training at St. Paul. They are men for others. The little that we do at St. Paul has a multiplier effect.

57 of our teacher trainees will be completing their training on 26th June and will move out to the different parts of the country to contribute their might in small ways to the world. We are proud to send them out as teachers of tomorrow. They are in their preparation for the exams. We wish them well.
